In India, many youths prepare for the competitive Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams. The UPSC is India’s premier central recruitment agency for all Group A officers under the Government of India and is responsible for appointments to all Group A posts of all the central government establishments.

Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj often encouraged youths to appear for the UPSC exams and serve the nation with integrity and diligence. Thus, in honor of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s birth centenary celebrations, by the inspiration of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the BAPS Pramukh Academy has been inaugurated to provide suitable guidance with appropriate facilities to youths preparing for the UPSC exams. Established with the guidance of experts, the BAPS Pramukh Academy in Atladara will provide in-person and online tutoring to 150 male and female students.

On 26 February 2023, the inauguration of the BAPS Pramukh Academy was performed via video conference from Mumbai by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, Pujya Bhaktipriya (Kothari) Swami and Pujya Viveksagar Swami, and in Atladara by Pujya Doctor Swami. Dignitaries present in Atladara included District Magistrate Shri Dr. A.B. Gor, IAS; MLA Mr. Keyurbhai N. Rokadia, MLA Chaitanya M. Desai; and City BJP President Dr. Vijaybhai Shah.

Doctor Swami motivated the students to prepare for the examinations with determination and patience. Mahant Swami Maharaj encouraged and blessed the students to become excellent officers and serve the nation with pride and integrity.
