That is why we are proud to provide the comprehensive facilities and resources of the Praveg (Mains Guidance) Programme entirely free of cost. From our AC reading rooms and one-to-one mentorship to comfortable lodging and nutritious meals, every amenity is fully at your disposal so you can focus purely on your studies without any logistical worries.
In return, we expect only a few simple commitments from your side regarding discipline, and campus conduct. These guidelines are not just rules to be followed; they are carefully designed to cultivate a peaceful, distraction-free environment that will directly benefit your stay, streamline your daily routine, and ultimately elevate your preparation.
- Admission Letter & Acknowledgment: Upon successful admission to Pramukh Academy, you will be issued an official Admission Letter detailing all documents and necessary items to bring. Candidates must bring a hard copy of this Admission Letter, duly signed as a mark of agreement, when reporting to the campus.
- Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of ₹5,000/- must be submitted at the time of admission. This deposit will be utilized to recover any expenses or damages caused to the movable property of the academy, with the remainder returned upon final departure.
- Spiritual Discipline: Candidates must attend a compulsory 10-minute evening Arti daily and participate in a 45-minute spiritual discourse once a week. The civil services journey is deeply demanding; this brief pause provides a quiet sanctuary to build the emotional resilience and inner peace needed to succeed.
- Campus Entry/Exit Protocols: Candidates may leave the campus at any time after registering with the gatekeeper, provided they return strictly by 8:00 PM.
- Additionally, students are expected to strictly adhere to the designated daily timings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Leave Protocol: When departing the campus on authorized leave to visit home, students must compulsorily deposit their identity cards at the security office. Upon returning, they must retrieve their card and immediately mark their attendance before entering their rooms.
- Behaviour: Do not make any inappropriate comments on your fellow aspirants or behave inappropriately with faculty/mentors or candidates during your stay.
- Stri-Purush Maryada: In alignment with the spiritual and disciplinary values of the academy, absolute ‘Stri-Purush Maryada’ must be maintained. Any kind of conversation, discussion, or interaction between male and female candidates is not allowed on the campus.
- Do not enter the prayer hall, classroom, reading hall, dining hall, multipurpose hall, room, or news zone wearing footwear. Always arrange footwear in a line at the designated place.
- No candidate should wear inappropriate clothing on campus. Do not roam around the campus wearing half-pants or undergarments etc.
- Do not wear shorts except during exercise time or inside your room.
- Do not eat any snacks in the reading hall or examination hall; only a water bottle for drinking water can be kept. This is to keep reading space odour free and clean.
- Stay in the designated room. Do not go to another candidate’s room to sleep at night or in the afternoon.
- Use the bed, table, or cupboard designated for your room. Do not put your belongings in others’ beds, tables, chairs, or cupboards.
- Each candidate is suggested for cleaning their own room. Deep-clean collectively on a designated day of the week.
- Do not use electrical appliances like induction cookers, microwaves, irons, or printers inside the room.
Check whether lights and fans are off when leaving the room.
- Snacks or meals must be taken in the dining hall at the designated time. At other times, food arrangements will not be available from the academy.
- Follow food and drink rules associated with the Swaminarayan tradition, such as fasting or consuming Falahari food only on Ekadashi, not eating onion-garlic, etc. Do not bring such food items to the campus.
- Any food items from Zomato, Swiggy, or any other online sites or outside hotels are not allowed in the academy. Therefore, do not order or bring such items from outside by any means.
- Only Fruits/dry fruits/packaged snacks (wafers, namkeen, juice etc.) without onion and garlic are allowed.
- Go to the dining hall with your ID card and sit only after marking your attendance there.
- Do not take academy dishes, bowls, spoons, etc., to the room for personal use.
- Respect the spiritual environment of the campus and do not consume or bring inappropriate food or drinks such as gutkha, tobacco, bidis, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicants to the campus.
- Keep only those devices that are useful for study and are deemed necessary. Do not keep other devices solely for entertainment.
- It is suggested that candidate should not watch or listen to, any inappropriate content such as obscene content, movies, as it may disturb other aspirants and spoil the environment of the campus. If required, headphones must be used at all times when watching videos or listening to audio on personal devices.
- It is suggested not take any digital device to your room while going to sleep to prevent any disturbance to fellow roommates.
- It is suggested that social media can be used specifically for academic purposes. Do not use it for other unnecessary activities.
- Do not share photos of partying, eating, wearing shorts in the room, bathing, dancing, or small pranks, etc. In short, do not share or upload anything that could harm the academy’s reputation.
Note: All aspirants must comply with the above rules and any other regulations announced periodically. Failure to do so will result in appropriate action as determined by the academy.
